Free calls, Wi-Fi and charging are provided free of charge, but availability is not guaranteed.
We reserve the right to monitor, restrict, or block calls (including storing numbers dialed) if misuse is suspected or identified.
Do not use services for unlawful, abusive or offensive activity. Misuse may result in restrictions in use and reporting to relevant authorities.
Medical equipment may not always be available. Use in good faith at your own risk.
The pulsehub provides a voice over IP (VoIP) service. Access to the emergency services will not be available in the event of a power failure or loss of network.
Maps, wayfinding and local information are provided by third parties – accuracy is not guaranteed.
We will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permissible under applicable law, we accept no liability for loss, damage or injury arising from use of this pulsehub or its services
The privacy of your personal data is important to us. We collect and process personal data for the purposes of service provision, security, and safety. Further details, including your rights, are set out in our Privacy Notice. Please also see our Cookie Policy. These are available on our website at www.pulsehub.uk.
We keep records in respect to a user's use of the WiFi service including username, connection and disconnection times, allocated IP address and timestamped log of online resources and services accessed.
This hub uses and locally stores CCTV recordings in the event of emergencies. Recordings may be shared with police for safety and evidentiary purposes.
Environmental sensors and small cell technology may operate. All data is anonymised to support compliance with data privacy laws.

1. General
This pulsehub is provided free of charge for public benefit by us
Please read these Terms of Use (Terms) carefully. They set out the basis on which you are allowed to use the publsehub and the services made available including via the pulsehub including but not limited to: interactive screens to access local information and services, connecting to and using our Wi-Fi, making free national telephone calls, charging electronic devices, making calls to emergency services, activating the emergency button, and releasing and using any medical equipment (collectively the Services).
These Terms govern the provision and use of the Services and will form a legally binding contract between Urban Innovation Company (UIC) Limited (Urban Innovation) and you so please do take the time to read these Terms and make sure you understand them.
By using any of the Services, you agree to accept and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to accept these Terms you must not use any of the Services.
We recommend you review these Terms each time you use the Services as we may update them from time to time.
Use of the pulsehub is entirely at your own risk. We accept no liability for loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience arising from use of the pulsehub or its services.
Use of the Services is permitted on a temporary basis and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend any of the Services provided to you without notice.
Urban Innovation makes no warranty that the Services will meet your requirements, that content will be accurate or reliable, that the functionality of the Services will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected or that the Services or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or anything else which may be harmful or destructive.
2. Your use of the Services
You must not:
use any part of the Services to engage in any activity which constitutes or is capable of constituting a criminal offence. You agree and acknowledge that we may keep a log of the IP address of any devices which access any part of the Services, the times when they have accessed any part of the Services and the activity associated with that IP address.
interfere with, or disrupt, the Services (in whole or in part) or any servers or networks connected to it, including by transmitting any worms, viruses, malware, spyware or any other code of a destructive, malicious or disruptive nature. You may not inject content or code or otherwise alter or interfere with the way any page of the Services is rendered or displayed in a user’s browser or device;
access the Services via a means not authorised in writing in advance by Urban Innovation, including but not limited to, automated devices, scripts, bots, spiders, crawlers or scrapers (except for standard search engine technologies);
attempt to restrict another user of the Services from using or enjoying the Services or any part of it and you must not encourage or facilitate the breach of these Terms by others;
use any part of the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose (including accessing the Internet to send or receive content of a pornographic nature, content which is obscene, profane or abusive, or which is defamatory, threatening or intimidating); or
change, modify, adapt or alter the Services or change, modify or alter another website so as to inaccurately imply an association with the Services or with Urban Innovation
copy, reproduce, transmit, store, sell or distribute any content made available as part of the Services without our prior written consent.
3. Telephone Calls
Free calls are provided where available. Service availability or quality is not guaranteed.
Calls must not be used for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or abusive purposes.
We reserve the right to monitor, restrict, or block calls (including storing numbers dialed) if misuse is suspected or identified.
Our phone lines rely on the mobile data network and a power supply to the pulsehub to work. If there is a power failure or loss of mobile network you will not be able to use the emergency call button.
If you call the emergency services we will use our reasonable efforts to let them know the location of the pulsehub, however you should ensure you tell them your location. [The location of the pulsehub you are calling from is shown on the map.
4. Public Wi-Fi
In order to use our Wi-Fi Services, you need to register with us by providing us with your name and email address. We will remember your details for up to 6 months to enable you to easily re-connect when you are next in range of Wi-Fi through one of our pulsehubs.
By registering and using the Wi-Fi Services, you represent that:
you are at least 16 years old; and
you have provided us with accurate and truthful information during the registration process.
We keep records in respect to a user's use of the WiiFi service including username, connection and disconnection times, allocated IP address and timestamped log of online resources and services accessed.
Free Wi-Fi is provided for general public use. Availability and performance are not guaranteed.
Users must act lawfully and responsibly. Prohibited uses include illegal file sharing, hacking, sending offensive/defamatory material, or harassment.
We accept no liability for loss of data, device damage, or security breaches while using the service. Users are responsible for ensuring their own device security.
We recommend that you do not use the Wi-Fi Services for sending or receiving confidential information or data.
5. Device Charging
Free charging facilities are provided at your own risk.
We are not responsible for any damage to your device, loss or theft resulting from use of charging facilities.
6. Medical Equipment
Our pulsehubs provide access to emergency medical equipment (such as bleed control kits, defibrillators and Naloxone). You should follow any instructions provided when using such equipment and only use them for their intended purpose.
We cannot guarantee availability, accessibility, or functionality of such equipment at all times.
Our pulsehub is a voice over IP (VoIP) service. Access to the emergency services will not be available in the event of a power failure or loss of mobile network.
All equipment is maintained in line with manufacturer specifications and, where applicable, is registered with national databases.
We accept no liability for the outcome of the use of the equipment provided.
7. Information & Wayfinding Services
The pulsehub may display maps, wayfinding, transport information, or local services information.
All such information is provided by third parties and we cannot guarantee accuracy, reliability, or completeness. Users should verify important information independently.
Parts of the Services may include links to third party websites that are controlled and maintained by others. Any link to other websites is not an endorsement of such websites and you acknowledge and agree that Urban Innovation is not responsible for the content or availability of any such websites. We recommend you review those websites’ terms and conditions and privacy policies to ensure you are happy to use them.
8. CCTV & Emergency Use
Pulsehubs are fitted with integrated CCTV. In certain emergency situations (e.g., use of the emergency button), video and image recordings may be activated and stored.
Such recordings may be shared with law enforcement for evidentiary purposes.
By using the pulsehub, you acknowledge the presence of CCTV monitoring for safety and security.
9. Smart Technology & Sensors
The pulsehub may include environmental sensors (e.g., air quality), footfall counters, and connectivity equipment (4G/5G small cells, IoT devices).
Data collected is anonymised and non-personal, processed in line with UK privacy laws (including GDPR) and other applicable laws.
We are not responsible for the performance of third-party equipment integrated within the pulsehub.
10. Liability
We will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill.
The pulsehub and its services are provided 'as is' and 'as available.'
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for service interruptions, technical faults, malware/security issues, or damage, loss, or injury arising from use of pulsehub facilities, Wi-Fi, calls, charging, or equipment.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
Your statutory rights at law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, remain unaffected
11. Governing Law
These Terms and the use of the Services generally and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by the laws of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
12. What we will do if you are in breach of these Terms
If you are in breach of, or we suspect you are in breach of, these Terms then we may take any of the following actions:
issue a warning to you;
effect an immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your access to any part of the Services;
take legal action against you; and/or
disclose such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary.
The responses described above are not limited and we may take any other actions we reasonably deem appropriate.
13. Invalid Terms
If any of these Terms should be found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction then such term shall be removed and the remaining terms shall survive and remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding on and enforceable by both of us.
14. Complaints and customer support
If you have any queries or complaints regarding the Services, the items featured on the Services or any of the Terms, please contact us by sending an e-mail to hello@pulsehub.uk. We will endeavor to respond to all queries within 10 working days. Any complainants also have the right to an external dispute resolution provider such as the FCA or a similar ombudsman.
